I'm writing this to you not just as a media creative, but as a concerned lone soldier mom, the mom of a daughter who was recently released from the reserves, who served for four years in the IDF Spokespersons Unit and was awarded Outstanding Soldier for the entire IDF Operational Directorate, a young woman who has seen more of the horrific, torturous Hamas video than anyone because she catalogued it for the IDF, and a young woman who continues to dedicate her life to serving and defending Israel.
While our brave and courageous soldiers are fighting for Israel's survival on the ground, we must fight for Israel's legitimacy and we must fight antisemitism in the media.
Right now, Israel is losing the narrative war —and we're losing the next generation.
Since October 7th, an overwhelming surge of pro-Hamas, anti-Israel content floods TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube daily, radicalizing youth with viral, emotionally charged misinformation.
Israel is being demonized in the minds of millions, especially among Gen Z.
There are virtually no widely distributed, emotionally resonant, pro-Israel series countering that narrative—nothing that shows Israel’s humanity, diversity, or the reality on the ground.
This is a dangerous vacuum in the media landscape for Jews all over the world, and especially for Israel.
